Alberto Llaneza Martín
President, CEO, Investment Committee and Board Member

Alberto holds a degree in Law and Business Administration from the San Pablo CEU University (Madrid). He started his professional career in the Financial Markets area of Argentaria (now BBVA) within the International Equities team, continued his experience at UBS Warburg Madrid in the European Equities team, then moved to London where he developed his career i) in Derivatives and International Equities at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson ii) in Société Générale as head of the Iberian area for Equities and Derivatives and iii) in Unicredit HVB as head of the Iberian and Latam area for Equities and Derivatives. Since 2012 he leads the project of Audentia Capital as Founder, President and CEO. He is in addition Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Investment Committee.

Patricia Van Ossel COO and Board Member

Patricia has a degree in Business Administration from ICADE University (Madrid) and Graduated in Business Administration from the University Cesem Management School (Reims, France). She started her professional career in Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking, first in the Structured Real Estate Financing Department and then in the Leverage Structure Finance department. After 9 years working in the Bank, she decided to give a turn to his career and moved to Unibail-Rodamco, the first listed group of the commercial real estate sector in Europe and the third largest in the world, within the Construction team. She is actually COO and Board Member.

Guillermo Gonzalez Risk Coordination

Guillermo holds a Master degree in Banking and Finance and a degree in Business Administration by the University of Santiago de Compostela. He started his career in Banesto (now part of Banco Santander) and then moved to London to join a proprietary trading firm as a futures trader. After 2 years he moved to GH Kapital London and joined their Risk Management team. Since 2016, Guillermo coordinates the risk management department of Audentia Capital group.

Frank Chetcuti Board Member, Compliance Officer and MLRO

He co-founded CDF Advocates (Malta) in 1993. After 3 years focused in financial services, taxes, data protection, EU and International law, he spent 6 years as co-head of Bank of Valletta plc Compliance Unit, returning to CDF Advocates in 2002. His experience includes financial product development, international financial transactions and financial regulation and has worked on behalf of banks, fund managers, investment funds and insurance companies. He holds a Law Doctorate and a Master in Financial Services from the University of Malta and an International Investment Advice Certificate from the Securities and Investment Institute (London). He is actually Board Member, Compliance Officer and MLRO.

Simon Grima Board Member, Investment Committee Member and MLRO

Simon Grima is the Head of the Insurance Department, and Lecturer in the department of Banking and Finance within the Faculty of Economics, Management and Accountancy at the University of Malta and the President of the Malta Association of Risk Management. He lectures in the areas of Financial Services, Risk Management, Corporate Finance, Financial Management and Financial Services Regulations. His research and consultancy expertise is focused on Risk Management, Internal Audit and Compliance in the Financial Services Industry. Simon has an impressive experience in Banking, Insurance, Accounting, Fund Management, Fund Administration, Treasury, Internal Auditing, Risk Management, Investments, Risk and Audit committees. He is currently member of the Board of Directors, member of the Investment Committee and MLRO.

Andrés González Investment Committee member and portfolio manager

Andres holds a degree in Economics by the University Carlos III de Madrid and a master’s degree in Portfolio Management, he is also a CAIA member since March 2016. He started his career as a proprietary trader in OSTC LTD and then moved to the structured equity derivatives team at HSBC Madrid. He finally joined Audentia Capital in 2016. Actually he is an Investment Committee member as well as a portfolio manager.

Hugo Mérida Investment Committee Member

Hugo holds a Master degree on Finance by ICADE and a degree in Business Administration by the Universidad Autónoma of Madrid and by the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. He developed most of his financial career at BBVA performing different trading roles within the Global Markets Division (from Short Interest Rate derivatives’ trader to Head of Equity Risk Arbitrage or more recently Head of Equity Trading Asia, based in Hong Kong). He is now Founder and Managing Director of MVM Capital Gmbh, an International Corporate Finance Advisory Boutique based in Frankfurt. He is also member of the Advisory Board of Round Hill Capital for its Spanish and Portuguese Real Estate Investments. Since 2014, we have Hugo as part of Audentia Capital’s Investment Committee.

Aaron Sammut Board Member

Aaron holds a Bachelors of Commerce degree from the University of Malta in Banking and Finance including a Certificate for Financial Advisors. Aaron started his career in finance at Azzopardi Stockbrokers Ltd as an executive in 1999 before heading to HSBC Malta where he held a variety of roles for the 10 years up the position of Assistant Manager in Pricings and Valuations. In October 2012, Aaron moved to Amicorp Fund Services (Malta) Limited where he held the position of Fund Services Manager. He is since 2017 Board Member.
